Did you know your desk job poses a risk to your health?

Did you know that working at a desk could pose a risk to your health. Poor posture can lead to musle imbalance and postural and can lead to pain, which if left unchecked can lead to injury. Who knew sitting at your desk could cause repetitive motion injury.

As you sit at your desk today working on your daily tasks, don't forget to get up and stretch 5 minutes every hour. Staying hydrated by drinking a glass of water during your beaks will help muscles to stay hydrated and plyable. Take a minute to stretch the tight spots that are in a shortened position as you sit all day long such as your chest and your hamstrings. You will be amazed how much better you will perform throughout the day when your body isn't screaming in your ear.

Poor Desk Posture

Just a thought for the day as I realize that I too have been sitting at a desk for about half of today. Have a great one, and don't forget; treat your body nice, its the only one you get.
